This item looks to be in solid physical condition besides some scuffs, scratches and abrasions from time, use and being moved around. One of the corners of the mounting ears is a little bent. The purpose and application of this device is a mystery, but the right person should know exactly what to do with this unique piece of electrical equipment. Theres a long tunnel inside the device (INPUT -> FID -> OUTPUT). Looking at the diagram on top, you insert something into this tunnel and a signal from the RF IN (J2) is reflected back off the FID. No idea what any of that means or how it works but to my understanding the unit seems to be some kind of testing unit that involves electricity.
