THIS IS A SYNTHESIZED MODEL opposed to the 8562a which is not.
comes with optional face cover for an extra 150$, , cosmetically its in excellent condition
this was factory refurbished in 2000.
As you can see from pics I have measured all the amplitude levels and taken pics of certain spots thruout the spectrum referencing at a -10 db output on my dead on calibrated signal generator.This unit is dead on accurate with amplitude, frequency, sensitivity and attenuation.
the 9 series have monitor output which is very nice. you can feed the whole display into a projector or tv without any hassle and can bypass the little built in crt. you cant do this with the 856 line.you can also add upgrades very easy on this. its plug and play. just stick a pci card in the slot to customize this to your needs. The unit is in perfect condition with no notable flaws in looks or functionality. the other nice thing about the 9 series is the self calibration. you dont need to send it out for cal once a year anymore! the internal cal will last around 10 years before you need to realign the unit.
All buttons, knob, outputs , and inputs and ref source works flawlessly. crt is in perfect condition with no screen burn or significant sign of aging. Its still super bright and perfectly focused. .
The crt is bright, clear, sharp and focused.
this unit is guaranteed to work perfectly with no issues,Its been fully tested and calibrated by an RF engineer. . returns or repair are accepted within 30 days of receipt only
