Gala pelletizer model 6B with controls
Gala Pelletizing system Includes the Following
One (1) Gala Pelletizer Model 6B, Job #966173; 7.5 HP VAC motor; 3500 RPM
The pelletizer was taken apart completely and inspected; belt driven unit (timing belt type); From the picture the unit looks like the shaft speed is adjusted by the crank on the side of the unit but is not; it was converted to run with an AC variable speed motor; front seal needs to be replaced.
One (1) Stainless Steel Water-box included clamp not included
One (1) Gala Control Panel Job Number 880428 480VAC 175amp 3-phase.
All Contactors, relays, and push bottoms made by Allen Bradley.
With a Lesson Model 174923 15HP AC Variable Speed Controller for the Pelletizer unit the Lesson control was just installed few months ago and have very little use.
The operator panel include the following operator controls:
- Die Plate Temperature Control (Watlow)
- Die Plate amp meter (analog)
- Melt temperature indicator (Watlow)
- Dynisco pressure readout with alarm system with shut off set points
- Water Heater Temperature controller made by LOVE Controls
- Pelletizer Motor Load (analog)
- Pelletizer speed control for the Lesson AC Inverter.
Electrical cabinet weights approximately 450lb and when crated it will measure approximately 80" high x 36" wide x 60" long. I will give you exact dimensions and weight after packaging but these are very close; the pelletizer Control System was in operation when removed from service; Is in excellent condition ready to be used however re-testing the unit is necessary.
