A likely unused Chemware PTFE watch glass. The item appears to be new, however the top of the bag is torn open.
Resists nearly all attack from solvents and most other industrial chemicals (fluorine, strong fluorinating agents, and molten alkali metals are notable exceptions). Useful as both a beaker cover and as a surface for evaporative procedures.
These Teflon covers are crafted with even molding for stackability. The inert nature of this fluoropolymer makes them non-contaminating, non-sticking, and able to serve a wide variety of lab uses. Being PTFE, these have an indefinite shelf-life and you can get one here for 70% off of retail.
