ICOM AT-500 HF Auto antenna Tuner NO RESERVE
For Sale is a used ICOM AT-500 Auto Antenna Tuner. I have not been able to test this unit on an ICOM Radio so I will not guaranty that it works. I was able to connect it to an antenna, plug it in and run through all the bands on the front band switch. All lights work, the motor runs on all bands. When put from auto to manual mode in the top of the unit, all switches engage the motor drive as they should. I do not believe there is anything wrong with the unit, but I m not a technician, so this is the best I can give you. I ve looked at the inside of the unit thoroughly and cannot see anything wrong.
The physical condition of the Tuner definitely says used, with some minor dings and scuffs on the top, bottom and both sides see the hi-res photos of the exterior. This sale is for the AT-500 only. The AC power cord comes with the Tuner. NO other cables or anything comes with the Tuner. Manuals for this unit can easily be found on the web.
HF automatic tuner with coverage from 1.8 to 30MHz ham bands, including the WARC bands.
Automatic band switching is possible with Icom HF radios, although usable with any HF radio by manual band switching on the front panel.
Minimum Input: 50Watts, Maximum power capability 500W PEP/1kW PEP.
The unit is currently set up for 117VAC, but can be modified to 100VAC or 230VAC following simple instructions in the manual.
The Tuner was in a non-smoking environment in case it matters.
