1500 Watt Gasoline Powered Generator

Don't be fooled by other generators that claim to be 1500 Watts. Check the horsepower rating. This little powerhouse has a 2.8 HP engine. Many others only have a much smaller 2 HP engine.

HELPFUL INFORMATION ON GENERATORS:
When determining if the machine will produce enough wattage for your electrical needs, please keep the following in mind: You want to be sure that you do not exceed the 1200 running watts, otherwise known as continuous watts. The rated wattage is the power draw of a device as it normally runs. The surge wattage is a short burst of power draw that a device requires, usually as it starts or stops its motor. The total running wattage of the devices you intend to run on the generator should not exceed the rated wattage of the generator. To calculate the total running wattage of your devices, just sum up their individual rated wattages. The formula is as follows:
Please keep this safety tip in mind: Generators should be grounded, and should be placed in well ventilated areas. They should be kept away from open doors and windows. They should not be used in any type of structure, even a garage with the door open. It only takes a few minutes for Carbon Monoxide to kill you.
