The rest of the news is good. I got it home and enjoyed a full 5 minutes pumping out a large pot of water into the tub all the while torturing my kids that this was going to be our new shower. They`ve ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, had to endure it in the past. We`ll just leave it at that.
It`s never been employed. Looks like it was bought , partially assembled , but never pressed into service.
It is a barrel pump. I`ve seen them in any number of former gigs. Usually used to pump oil out of 55 gallon barrels to lubricate machinery.
Only defect I noticed using it was that the elbow piece up top was oozing as pumped. (only hand tight) A little teflon tape or plumbers dope should cure that instanty.
No attachment up top to screw into a barrel.
