The 819 Injection Module enables you to inject samples onto Gilson's 215 Liquid Handler. The module contains a high-pressure, two-position switching valve that can also be used for fraction collection. It is an effective way to collect fractions when the flow rate is higher than 20 mL/min.
Carryover is less than 0.01%
Ideal for analytical to preparative injections
Make-before-break rotor seal design prevents pressure spikes from injection when operating at high flow rates
Injection Reproducibility* <0.9% CV with 1-mL syringe and total loop filling method
Available Sample Loops 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 L; 1, 2 and 5 mL
Front Panel LOAD and INJECT LED indicator lights
Communication Interface RS-232 or GSIOC; one contact closure output and one contact closure input
Power Requirements Frequency: 47 63 Hz
Voltage: 100 120 or 220 240V, mains voltage fluctuations not to exceed 10% of the nominal voltage
Current rating: 1.0A for 100 120V or 5.0A for 220-240V
Liquid-Contact Materials 316L and 304 stainless steel, FEP, PEEK
Software Via Gilson UniPoint System Software or 735 Sampler Software
Dimensions (w x d x h) 19 x 20 x 10 cm (7.5 x 8 x 4 in.)
Weight (with installed valve) 4 kg (9 lbs.)
215 Liquid Handler/Injector Single-probe, "workhorse" liquid handler and autosampler delivers a robust performance for fast and accurate direct injection onto HPLC or LC/MS systems. Suitable for a wide variety of applications with the capability of piercing thick septa. Performs injection, fraction collection and re-injection of collected fractions on one platform.
Versatile, large bed liquid handler and autosampler accommodates more than 330 racks to hold virtually any type of sample vessel
Add injection capabilities with the 819 Injection Module; configure with two 819 Injection Modules for increased throughput or for analytical and preparative injections
"Make-before-break" stator and large-bore rotor seal prevent pressure spikes from injection at high flows
Numerous custom software and rack configurations to meet the demands of your applications
Analytical analysis and preparative-scale purification of synthetic and biological compounds
Semipreparative compound purification and identification as part of Gilson s LC/MS Autopurification System
Multidimensional separations with Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) for the preparation of protein digests for LC/MS/MS analysis
Meets applicable safety and EMC certification standards; UL and CE certified
Arm Speed >45.7 cm/sec (>18 in./sec) in X dimension
>40.6 cm/sec (>16 in./sec) in Y dimension
Communication Interface RS-232 or GSIOC; Four inputs (contact closure, TTL, or open-collector), four relay outputs and one switched +24V DC 1A output
Front Panel 8-character display, START and emergency STOP soft keys
