Great working condition. Berkel Model 823E - daily use of one to three hours is the norm for these slicers. Heavy gauge aluminum cast housing with anodized finish Sliding food carriage angled for true gravity feed into blade. Permanent, tapered knife ring guard covers non-slicing portion of knife even when the sharpener and center plate are removed; ring guard design provides more room behind the knife for easy cleaning. Up to 9/16"" slice thickness. Hollow ground chromium plated carbon steel blade. Built-in 2 stone dual action knife sharpener. Not recommended for heavy cheese slicing.
