Large antique wood cabinet drawers garage shop storage
VERY LARGE WOOD CABINET, 144 DRAWERS GREAT FOR STORAGE
This cabinet has been in our family garage for 50 years. It was purchased by my father from a Los Angeles CA. Tire factory from the millwright shop, sometime in the 1950's . It has been used to store everything, tools, cabinet hardware, nuts and bolts etc. The drawers size is approx. 13" depth - 8 1/2" width - 4 1/4" high. The cabinet is approx. 9' 5" wide X 5' high. The drawer's are solid clear pine and the drawer bottoms fir. The unique handles are wood and all drawers are in very good condition. It is complete with all original drawers and handles.
I would guess this cabinet was built anywhere from the teen's to the 1940's based on the style of the handles and the history of the tire industry in California. This cabinet is very well made and I recently moved it to a storage unit and it is still very solid. This was professionally made judging from the fine Jointery construction. The drawers are half lapped on the front and box joint on the back. It would be very costly to duplicate a cabinet like this today.
This is a Great cabinet for a garage or shop. I know I've been using it for 50 years. VERY USEFUL STORAGE

This cabinet is listed at a very fair BIN price for a cabinet of its size and quality. It is priced at less than 1/4 of a previous offer I had for it 2 years ago, before I decided to sell it,before times got tough. Don't miss out on a real bargain !!!
