BRIDGEPORT INTERACT SERIES ll CNC 4 AXIS MILL
ANILAM 5500MK CONTROL STILL SUPPORTED
This mill was originally built as a CNC machine by Bridgeport. Not some mill that was retrofit with a CNC control. It has a ridged head with large ballscrew on the Z-axis. The machine is wired for a 4th axis and has the drive card installed for it. Chrome box ways and ball screws are heavy duty and are in great condition. Table is in great shape. This is one of the nicest used machines I have ever seen. Scraping looks like new. Table is 15 x 38 with 5/8 tee slots. Travel on X is 30" Y is 15" and Z is 6", with 15" on the knee. Bijur electric automatic lube pump. Spindle is NT 30. Has pneumatic draw bar.
This mill has a 3 hp 30min - 2HP cont. AC spindle motor. Variable head 60-4200 pneumatic spindle speed control. The machine can be wired 220/440 volts.
Large DC servomotors deliver plenty of torque.
This is a very versatile control. You have the ability to use G-Code or conversional. Automatic M functions will turn on spindle and coolant. Built in coolant pump. Manual operation is possible with electronic hand wheel. Programs may be transferred by way of RS232 port or floppy disk. These controls are still supported by Anilam and still offer technical phone support.
SMW rotary table. Full 4 axis simultaneous in the Anilam control.
5c Pneumatic collet closer. 5.5 ctr to table with dead ctr included. Also has threads if you want to add a chuck.
