The Classic Swipe Reader is a small self-contained reader unit for use in applications such as access control systems and shop floor data collection systems. Designed to "read" the binary encoded pattern of Wiegand words embedded in the Sensor Card and Sensor Card II access cards, the reader will produce a corresponding logic level pulse train at its outputs as the card is passed through the slot. The molded plastic body of the Classic Swipe reader mounts on any flat vertical surface and is secured with two #10 fasteners.
