All Piston Kits contain Pistons, Rings, Sleeves, O-Rings (when applicable), Pins and Keepers
MW Power Seal Pistons - are cam and taper ground for better fit. Cylinder wall contact is kept to a minimum by making the piston wider on the sides than front and back. The top of the piston is smaller in diameter than the bottom. Under normal Operating temperatures the diameters are equalized.
MW Power Seal Rings - are ground and lapped for precision fit with closely controlled end gaps and tension. The beveled and tapered design means that only the sharp corners of the rings contact cylinder walls for maximum sealing.
MW Power Seal Sleeves - are centrifugally cast to avoid the impurities and imperfection of sand casting. Sleeves are then precision machined and the inner walls are minutely honed to provide exact oil bearing channels.
High Headland Pistons - The MW Power Seal High Headland Piston - can actually reduce power robbing blow-by up to 90%! The unique designed head land ring in the piston is forced against the cylinder wall by combustion gases for a more positive seat than possible with ordinary tension rings.
