X-rite DTP20 uv (pulse) spectrophotometer & accessories

with Pathfinder guide plate (and calibration plate), usb cable and power supply .
It comes with driver CD for Mac and Windows and ColorPort software for measurements.
Colorport Utility can be updated from website (http://www.colorxact.net/content/view/s9/262/lang,en/) to version 1.5.4
Toolcrib (both 1.1.16 and 5.0.9 - probably for the Mac and PC versions)
All this is included on the disk.
Works great. It is supported by GMG, CGS ColorBurst and other rip vendors.
The device itself (X-Rite DTP20 UV) uses a USB cable and has an AC power suppply cable
The Pathfinder Scan guide (includes a calibration plate)
There is no profiling software with this because I use a ColorBurst rip
which comes with SpectralVision Pro software .
SpectralVision Pro is the software that I used to connect to the Pulse,
perform calibrations, measure linearization and profiling target data, and
create linearization files and ICC profiles.
With a rip you will get complete, professional, high-quality calibration and profiling.
Also to answer a question that a few people have asked... the profiles that I would create for my printer (Epson 9800) with
SpectralVision Pro were always CMYK profiles. That's because ColorBurst
drives the printer as a CMYK device.
The RGB files would still send through ColorBurst,
they'd just be converted to the CMYK output profile for printing
It can be used without power cable using its own battery.
The DTP20 has a couple of unique features that you can take advantage of. One is that it can operate un-tethered (off line). A whole chart can be read un-tethered by first clearing any previous readings in the instrument, then reading the chart TID strip, before reading all the other strips.
The instrument can then be connected up to chartread, which will recognize the chart, and download all the measurements.
If there is no chart in the instrument when chartread connects to it, then it will use the strip by strip tethered mode, just like the other strip instruments. If the right number of spot readings are present in the instrument, these will be used by chartread too.Un-tethered spot measurements can also be read in using spotread, which will notice the stored readings, and offer to print them out, or they can be ignored, and tethered readings taken. This will clear any saved spot readings.
There are no returns SO PLEASE...
