UHF 16 CHANNEL 4 WATT PORTABLE RADIO TRANSCEIVER
This high power (4 Watt) UHF FM Maxon SL55 handheld radio has 16 channels. It has an overall coverage is from 440 to 470MHz at 12 , 20 or 25kHz spacing, but can be programmed slightly outside the range including the 70cm amateur (ham) band. It can be programmed at either 1 or 4 Watts. Comes complete with stubby aerial and battery. A charger is not included with this radio.
The unit is fully operational and in good condition. The battery appears to be good, it has been charged for a few weeks and is holding its charge even after radio bench testing, but obviously the battery condition cannot be guaranteed. See below for more photographs.
This radio is not field programmable, but I can programme up to 16 channels in the range for an additional charge of 20 if required. I am also selling other radio accessories separately; see my other items for details.
