Suitable for direct measurement of fluids and for potentiometrically determining the end point of calcium titrations made with EDTA.
The electrode is 50 times more sensitive to calcium than to magnesium and approximately 1000 times more sensitive to calcium than to sodium or potassium. Can be used with samples as small as <5mL in a 50mL beaker. Electrode is unbreakable epoxy half-cell. The sensing element contains a gelled PVC membrane and the ion exchanger. The membrane, ion exchanger, and reference solution are incorporated in a screw-in, replaceable electrode module. Use with reference electrode 34107-923. Dimensions: 12dia.x135Lmm. Cap diameter: 16mm.
