There are a total of 11 modes, grouped into four main categories:
Cylon scanner: "classic" back & forth, one direction only, the other direction
Glowing pig eyes in the window: two eyes, cyclops eye, random single eye
Random (berserk/malfunctioning robot): multi-random, single random, sparse
YOU GET THE CIRCUIT BOARD WITH THE PRE-PROGRAMMED CHIP ALREADY SOLDERED TO THE BOARD, 5 RED 3MM LEDS, ONE 180 OHM RESISTOR, AND A BOARD MOUNTED PUSH BUTTON SWITCH, ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE AT:

YOU NEED TO SOLDER THE LOOSE COMPONENTS TO THE BOARD, SO YOU'LL NEED A SOLDER IRON AND SOME SOLDER AND A SMALL WIRE CUTTERS, AND SUPPLY A 3 - 4.5 VOLT DC POWER SOURCE, THAT COULD BE 2-3 FLASHLIGHT BATTERIES OR A SMALL 3 - 4.5 VOLT DC OUTPUT WALL TRANSFORMER
