What is the best part about having your own business?
The freedom for sure. It has allowed me to stay home with my 3 children for the last 3 years. The income it has provided and the $1,200 a month daycare savings have been more than our family could ask for. The freedom to create any kind of fashion you would like. If you see a beautiful design (free of copyright) that would look great on a t-shirt, hoodie, long sleeve, or tote bag then you make it into a reality. If you hear a common phrase that everyone is saying, you have the ability to create a product in as little as 5 minutes that captures that idea. The only limit to this business is self-imposed. If you want to take the day off and spend with your kids you can (probably create more work for the next day =)). If you want to work 16 hours a day creating new products that have a proven track record of success then you can. If you would rather farm the majority of the details out and have great people management skills than you can.
