Massey ferguson 124 baler with thrower
Massey Ferguson 124 baler with MF 22 thrower.........very good tires, nice solid baler.......has all pickup teeth...knotters look good...good PTO shaft....tires are like new..has hydraulic cylinder with hoses for angling thrower....I don't know much about MF balers but I think it is missing a shield in the front......
previous owner welded the arm that pushes hay toward knotters (see pict.) and also welded a bracket where the hydraulic cylinder hangs in the back..(see pict)....the belt that runs the flywheel in the front could use replacing.....I would consider this an older solid baler...I did not take the time to shine it up like other equipment you might see...has wagon hitch in rear....the hay is cleaned out of the chute.....I do not see any places where the metal is weak from rust....
Before you start baling, you will have to grease it, oil the chains and add twine...
