This wire is for indoor use in fire/life safety systems, fire and alarm notification, smoke/heat detection, building control circuits and initiating circuit systems. Exceeds UL 1666 flame test for cables installed in spaces installed vertically in shafts (riser). Rated 300 volts and -6 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius in dry locations.

This 2 conductor #18 solid wire has an insulation thickness of 9 (PVC) mils with the jacket thickness of 15 mils (PVC). The outside diameter is .162 inches and the net weight of 1000 feet of cable is 22 lbs. The Capacitance is 53 picofarads per foot. The colors of the insulation on the 2 conductors are black and red.
