The HP 8447A Amplifier is a general-purpose, low-noise, wideband amplifier that provides 20 dB gain to
signals in 50-Ohm systems from .1 to 400 MHz. The 8447A can be used to make up resistive probe losses
or improve sensitivity when used as a preamplifier to a Spectrum Analyzer or Oscilloscope.
The Agilent HP 8447A Broadband Preamplifier is solid-state offering improved reliability. The unit operates
at a frequency range of 0.1 to 400MHz. Designed into a small, lightweight package, this broadband amplifier
provides low noise, wide bandwidth, flat frequency response, and low distortion. Response of 50kHz to 700MHz
with 3 dB bandwidth and 20 dB gain. Standard unit connectors are BNC(F).
Low end frequency limit: 100.0 kHz
High End Frequency: 400.0 MHz
