Aluminum External Antenna Mounting Skirt with Stiffening Plate
This industrial grade mount has four #10-32 mounting screws at 90 degree intervals on a 60mm diameter circle, allowing you to mount the antenna on a section of 1 inch pipe as shown below in the instructions. The screws that hold the mount to the pipe will need a hex key to tighten them, and the four mating screws are Phillips #2 types.
Note that antennae other than the one mentioned in the instructions below may require slightly different screw lengths, so you may have to swap the four mating surface screws if your application requires longer or shorter lengths (or add a couple of washers under the head etc), or if antenna takes a size other than #10-32.
A copy of the instructions leaflet is provided below to assist you with checking compatibily with your installation.
Listing comprises: mount, 2 hex grub screws, 4 mating screws, neoprene mating gasket, stiffening plate, instruction leaflet. No other components, tools or documents included.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANTENNA MOUNTING RETROFIT KIT KS24019 L114 - COMCODE 407549245 FOR USE ONLY WITH KS 24019 L110 ANTENNA
1. REMOVE EXISTING PLASTIC ANTENNA MOUNT AND DISCARD. (USE #2 PHILLIPS HEAD DRIVER)
2. REMOVE JAM NUT AND LOCK WASHER FROM ANTENNA "N" CONNECTOR USING 3/4" WRENCH.
3. INSTALL ALUMINUM STIFFENING PLATE ONTO "N" CONNECTOR MAKING SURE ONE SET OF HOLES ALIGNS WITH THE 4 MOUNTING HOLES IN THE ANTENNA BASE. NOTE: STIFFENING PLATE MUST BE USED!!
4. RE-INSTALL JAM NUT AND LOCK WASHER ONTO "N" CONNECTOR. (TORQUE NUT TO 50 IN-LB.) USE WRENCH ON CONNECTOR FLATS TO PREVENT ROTATION OF CONNECTOR IN ANTENNA BASE.
5. SLIP FLANGE (WITH FLAT SIDE UP) OVER 1-1/4" PIPE AND LOOSELY FASTEN WITH 3/8" SET SCREWS ONTO PIPE . (USE 3/16" HEX DRIVER). NOTE: NEOPRENE WASHER IS ATTACHED TO TOP PORTION OF ANTENNA MOUNT FLANGE
6. INSERT CABLE WITH "N" CONNECTOR THROUGH PIPE.
7. ATTACH CABLE TO ANTENNA CONNECTOR.
8. DROP ANTENNA WITH ATTACHED CABLE ONTO FLANGE AND WASHER. INSERT AND TIGHTEN (4)- 10/32 SCREWS INTO ANTENNA. (USE #2 PHILLIPS HEAD DRIVER)
9. SLIDE FLANGE WITH MOUNTED ANTENNA AND CABLE COMPLETELY ONTO PIPE AND SECURELY FASTEN THE (2) - 3/8" SET SCREWS ONTO PIPE WITH 3/16" HEX DRIVER.
