The unit contains four MDM-7 divide-by-10 microstepping high performance stepper motor drive modules. The MDM7 divides each full step into 10 microsteps,providing 2000 steps per revolution from standard 1.8 degree stepping motors and features high speed bipolar chopper output stages, capable of running stepping motors at speeds in excess of 150 revolutions per second. The MDM-7 can be jumpered to drive motors up to 7 amps...!
The unit is rackmountable (as shown) but also has rubber feet for tabletop use.
The manual includes interface/cabling pinouts and specifications, unit configuration, and also information for programming and controlling the unit via GPIB including examples in BASIC.
