The Gynecare Thermochoice II Uterine Balloon Therapy system is the first thermal balloon endometrial ablation system with a new level of effectiveness to dramatically change the way menorrhagia is treated. It ia a thermal ablation device intended to ablate the endometrial lining of the uterus in premonopausal women with menorrhagia (excessive uterine bleeding) due to benign causes for whom childbearing is complete.
The Gynecare Thermachoice II H UBT system delivers effective treatment comparable in clinical efficacy to rollerball ablation. Fluid circulation allows for more uniform thermal effect and tissue necrosis. Uses a custom silicone balloon for latex sensitive patients. Efficient impeller design provides more uniform distribution of heated fluid for a more uniform necrosis of tissue. More flexible, slim diameter cannula is comparable to the size of a pipelle and minimizes the need for cervical dilation.
Cosmetically in perfect condition with some visible sign of normal wear. Powers on and lights up when plugged in. Goes through a self test initialization and then the screen reads- Connect Catheter I believe it is in working condition. There is no umbilical cord, power cord, manual or disposables included.
