Manufacturer's Description Designed specifically for use with suspension culture flasks. The effortless motor provides uniform speeds for great results with cell culture or small fermentations. Acurate speed control is set using an easy to read display. The smooth-running motor reduces heat transfer to medium being stirred. Takes flask sizes up to 3 Liters. Can be used in an environment with CO2 and non-condensing humidity, and with a temperature up to 50 C.
Feature a brushless DC motor which produces uniform speeds from 150 to 1200 rpm for consistent, reproducible results. Stirrer speed is clearly visible on digital display. Three automatic, selectable modes of operation allow maximum control of process to optimize the growth of cells. Select constant speed mode to go from a soft start to a steady speed. Use interval start mode to start and stop in cycles before reaching a final constant speed. Operate in two-speed mode to run stirrers at first constant speed for a period of time and then automatically adjust to second constant speed.
