Here is a vintage Dayton meat scale.
"I Don't know much about this kind of scale or how it works".
It seems to work very exceptionally when weight is applied to the platform and it is very responsive.
Numeric scale reading is illuminated by an internal florescent light activated by a front panel push button switch. Has a generously long 2 prong plug cord to power the light.
Fairly clean and fairly heavy!
