May or may not be used. In it's original box. This column was received here with the sealing sticker cut. Our supplier believed it to be unused. There are not any signs of use, at least none that were observable by us. The outside of the column, the box and the inner contents are clean. The plastic end screws were briefly removed to inspect the end ports. Both the ports and plastic screws appear very clean and free of any residue, corrosion, etc. The column label and metal looks to be as new. The perimeters of hexagonal nut portions are sharp and any minute pits on the flat surfaces appear to be intrinsic to the metal.
There are no warranties given as to the suitability of, or results from, this column with any specific procedure. Priced far below retail.
The item is being stored in a clean, dry area. Includes the LC column performance report originally enclosed, as well as usage instructions.
The column contains a monomeric phenyl phase, which is fully endcapped. The phase is mechanically stable and provides unique selectivity when compared to C4, C8, and C18 (ODS) types. The phenyl group increases retention of aromatic compounds compared to non-aromatic species.
The particle size is 3um. Pore size is 12nm (120 Angstrom).
