Stainless steel hot dog mega cart with grill
This is a beautiful custom made, all stainless steel hot dog cart. Cart includes: grill, bun steamer, food steamers, and 120 lb. ice compartment for holding drinks or hot dogs. This cart is capable of cooking and holding up to 300 dogs and/or sausage-brauts at any time ( room to heat chili, grilled onions and peppers as well as kraut. ) Holds 2, 20lb. LP tanks and has 7- 9,000 btu burners. 3 under steam trays, 2 under bun steamer, and 2 under grill. Fire extinguisher mounting bracket with extinguisher. Cart has large storage space underneath steam table approx. 14"h x40"w. Cart working size is 48" wide by 68" long and has sneeze guard and pull out condiment table. The cart has a tow hitch. However, the majority of hauling of this cart was via trailer. The cart has been kept out of the elements and maintained. This hotdog cart has been used extensively for festivals, county fairs, and full-time hot dog business. We have expanded, as of 2010, and now require to work inside a concession trailer. This trailer is a great money maker and we are sad to let it go. However, we do not have the manpower to run a 2nd location.
This is a great cart and a real eye-catcher. Included in the price: 1- 10'x10' tent, 3 -20lb. LP tanks, 2-Igloo coolers, multiple steam tray pans and lids, plastic bun holding stand to help keep buns fresh, fire extinguisher, bright yellow/red umbrella, and 20 gallon fresh water tank w/pump (sink not included)
This message is for all whom have shown an interest in the cart. We had this cart custom made in Miami Fla. we have done changes for USER FRIENDLY reasons....ie. where the hot dog steamers is now used to be a deep fryer. Up front were the towing tongue is were 3- 6x6" sinks, but we wanted more working area. This cart is (was our full time business until we bought a concession trailer this year.) It has no major dents in it and all welds are tight and the cart was polished and tested daily while it was in use. It has never let us down, it is a WORK HORSE of a HOT DOG CART. Now it will get hot on you when you are running all 7 burners ( because you have a line of 50 or more people you need to serve ), but all expansion of the one piece stainless steel top was factored in during the design. Once you get confortable with how the cart is set up and how all the burners work, and yes you will have days where you will need to light one or two with one of those long lighters because the ingnitor got jared during towing, but it is all part of the business. This cart and the hot dogs that we sell has made the local news at several different events from NC to SC....we have never failed a Health Dept or Fire Dept inspection because the say they love the shine of the stainless steel and how clean we keep it. As for the grill it can be used with Lava Rocks or plain because the Lava Rocks like to get bounced around while in tow, so what I do is put a few pieces of charcoal under the burners to give the sausages a better smoke flavored taste ( plus the crowds love the smell. )
