12 very rare blue quail d'anver bantam hatching eggs
These are the very rare Blue Quail Belgian Bearded d'Anvers! These are from excellent stock and several blood lines. This breed is unique as it is a quail d'Anver with the blue gene in-fussed to it. What this does is basically changes all the black pigment feathers to a lustrous slate blue as you can see in the pictures. It also tends to lighten up the rusty gold body feathers of the quail to a more even buff tone, some more so than others. The blue quail, or any blued bird for that matter produces 3 color varieties in it's offspring, blue, black and sport at a ratio of 2-1-1 respectively. The blues are the ones pictured, the black is the normal quail pattern, and the sport is a very cool, splash variety of the pattern. So you will get 3 colors in one breeding from these.
