This is a Used Heidenhein Encoder Rod 426 4500 01 Rotary Encoder. ROD encoders are coupled to the drive or the spindle via a separate rotor coupling. Axial motion and misalignment (radial and angular offset) between the encoder shaft and the drive shaft are compensated by the coupling. The ROD 426 has a synchro flange for mounting. Cosmetically the item is in good condition with only minor wear. No testing was done. The photos show the actual item for sale. Only what is shown in the photos is included.
