Up for sale is a Spirent Abacus XCG Subsystem with the following:
The XCG subsystem emulates the analog exchange by providing ring voltage, ?48 Vdc, and dial tone to the system under test. When performing call generation, the XCG subsystem executes a call sequence for each circuit. When performing switching, it routes a call from one channel to another channel on the Abacus system based on the number dialled by the SUT.
* Emulate PBXs or central offices
* Originate and terminate calls
* 32-bit processor, DSPs, and flash memory to ensure full computing and upgrading capabilities
* Programmable call progress tones
* Detect and forward DTMF, MF R1
* Provide ring voltage, ?48 Vdc, and dial tone
* Battery reversal and denial
* Generate 2800 calls or switch up to 2200 calls per hour per subsystem
* Program test duration to be random or fixed from 1 s to 5 years
* Verify that speech path is established and retained for duration of call
