This is a never-been-used, in its original box, 1/32-1/2 Ball Bearing Drill Chuck with a 3 Jacobs Taper.
These chucks were made in Taiwan, and were distributed by the New England Workholding Company of South Windsor Connecticut.
This Ball Bearing Chuck is designed for use on the finest production drilling machines, milling machines, jig bores, radial drill presses and lathes. Utilizing a ball thrust bearing to reduce friction in the chuck closing system assures that the maximum gripping force is applied to the drill shank for maximum resistance to drilling torque.

* Center ground jaws of high carbon chromium bearing steel
* Wear resistant hardened teeth
* Keyholes do not extend into chuck body cavity to seal out dirt
