Laser level stand / pivot / tripod attachment - alton

This is a stand for a laser level. It's made by Alton. I believe this was originally part of a kit that included the laser and a small tripod. I don't have those pieces, but if you do, this could be just what you're looking for :-).
- The top of the upper housing is metal, probably aluminum as it's not very heavy and it's not magnetic. The bottom of the upper housing is plastic.
- Built-in bubble level, so you know when the stand is level.
- Clamp to hold the laser level. This has brass threads, so they won't rust, and a plastic bar so it won't damage the level. The clamp can adjust to hold a level from 3/4" wide to 1-1/8" wide. The parts of the upper housing where the level is clamped looks to have been machined after the housing was painted. I'm assuming that's to insure that the level will be held perfectly straight in the clamp.
- Brass locking bolt for the pivot. Loosening this bolt allows the upper housing to pivot completely around, so you could mark a level line all the way around your room.
- Degree scale, marked from 0-360 degrees in two-degree increments.
- Three independently adjustable leveling legs. Turning the large plastic knobs on the legs will lengthen or shorten the leg to level the top of the stand.
- The top of the lower housing is metal, the same as the upper housing.
- The bottom of the lower housing is plastic, and has a threaded hole for a tripod. The hole is about 5/8" diameter, so it's not for a standard camera tripod. It looks like it might also fit a bolt-thread or a pipe-thread [I don't have a bolt that big, or a piece of pipe that small to try it].
The housing is 3-3/4" diameter, and the unit stands about 3-1/2" tall.
As for condition, everything works smoothly and easily. I got this in a box of stuff at a garage sale, so I can't claim it's never been used, but, other than a bit of dust on it, I can't find anything to indicate that it has been either.
