10-pin mini-din cable yaesu ft-950 ft-450 ft-857 ft-897

10-PIN MINI DIN LINEAR AMPLIFIER KEYING CABLE
for TRANSCEIVER TO LINEAR amplifier transmit key cable
RCA plug cable ends for amplifier keying and ALC
(TX Inhibit can be added if needed)
WITH THE 10-PIN DIN LINEAR JACK.

I recently purchase an FT-950. I discovered that, to use my linear amplifier,
I needed to have a cable with a Mini DIN 10 pin plug at one end and
an RCA plug at the other end. I have discovered that this particular
cable is very difficult to come by and is very expensive.
This cable is professionally assembled under a high powered stereo viewing system,
using a special new 10 pin Mini DIN plug and a molded RCA cable, about 8 feet long.
The Mini DIN cable is assembled with heat shrink tubing over each soldered pin
for complete pin-to-pin isolation and added strain relief.
Then a second layer of heat shrink is added over the complete pin assembly
to further isolate the whole contact pin assembly from the shield.
A third layer of heat shrink tubing is added to create more strain relief for the cable.
Now the shell is assembled and two more layers of heat shrink tubing are added to
the shell/cable interface to further create axial, radial and linear strain relief for the cable.
Both RCA ends now get labels, one with a "LINKEY" label and one with an "ALC" label
to insure ease of connecting to proper jacks on the linear amplifier.
Both labels are protected with clear heat shrink tubing.
This cable is now industrially rated and protected from heavy use.
All my cables are made this way.
UNDERSTAND... this cable is intended to plug into the 10 pin Linear Jack.
(I also have the 8-pin Mini-DIN and many other cables,
Each cable is independently and thoroughly tested from my FT-950 to my
ALPHA 87A to insure they work perfectly.
Most Yaesu transceivers, when adjusted properly, also work well without ALC.
This assembly can be also be provided with a TX INHIBIT line.
This cable has both the Amplifier Keying cable,
(The TX Inhibit and a 13 V line can be added if needed. Email me)
If you need the +13 volts to operate an external relay, email me.
As with all Mini DINs, they must be aligned and inserted carefully.
Be sure to line it up properly before pushing it fully home.
The picture included here is for all 3 Mini DIN cables I have available,
The 8-pin Mini DIN, Single Cable
The 10-pin Mini DIN, Single Cable (noALC)
*The 10-pin Mini DIN, Double Cable with ALC (or TX Inhibit if desired)
Email me if TX Inhibit is also desired as well as ALC
The pin-out diagrams shown is for both the Tuner and Linear jacks
