Also know as a "drafthood". Made of Galvanized steel with a G90 rating. G90 is a grade of galvanized sheet produced to ASTM A653 specifications. It has .90 oz/sq ft. of zinc overall, .45 oz/sq ft. per side for excellent corrosion resistance.
Our DRAFTHOODS are available with inlet diameters from 4" to 30".
The diverter utilizes an internal cone to stop downward drafts from passing down the stack past the drafthood. The design allows downward drafts to vent away from the combustion chamber, and the pilot flame is not blown out.
Applications for this cap include installations within a structure for boilers, water heaters, steam cleaner and pressure washer machines, food preparation ovens, baking ovens, pizza ovens, tortilla ovens, industrial process ovens, warming ovens, and many others.
