This is an; Aggie Milling Machine straight out of Texas A&M. It has two Aggie tags on it; TAMU 02-82-0-0166618 and PHYSICS Dept. AMU166618. It was bought by the government and sent to the Physics department at A&M College Station without a serial number on the machine. They did not use it very often. I can say that because all three axes have spindle counter on each of the X, Y, & Z power feeds. Every time any one of those spindles rotated, the counter recorded it. The X- axis reads 9985 spindle rotations, the Y-axis reads 1528 spindle rotations and the Z-axis reads 1239 spindle rotations. The machine ended up at Texas A&M in Galveston and that is where I bought it out of storage. The diamonds on the table ways have no wear and look great. See the picture of the ways.
The table of this machine has two blemishes, a 5/16 drill mark and a 1 endmill mark. You are welcome to come inspect it under power.
The spindle of this machine is equipped with highest quality and most popular quick change system ever made for a milling machine. It has a Universal Kwik Switch 40 taper master holder that uses the 300 series quick change adapters. It is very easy and quick to change a holder out with that system.
