(100) resealable ziplock 2" x 3" baggies zip bags 2 mil

100 2" x 3" ZIPLOCK STORAGE BAGS
These 2" x 3" Ziplock Polyethylene Bags
are perfect for storing away error coins!
You can easily see all sides of the coin!
Obverse, Reverse, completely see the rim all the way around as well!
The top seals out moisture, dust etc. and are reusable!
Above the seal there is enough space to
easily staple to an index card or piece of paper
which will allow for more room for notes about the variety
and how it was obtained, the values, etc.
The problems with a traditional 2 x 2 cardboard holder are:
the 2 x 2 cardboard holder does not actually seal out the atmosphere.
the 2 x 2 cardboard holder is more expensive and NOT reusable.
the 2 x 2 cardboard holder does not have enough room for notes!
As an error coin collector myself, I was always reluctant to place an error coin in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder due to the fact that the rim (the third die strike) was not visible. If you wanted to see a partial collar error, or missing reeding error, or split planchet error, even a clipped planchet error you would have to remove the coin from the holder.
Not with this bag! It is reusable!
Also I really like the fact that these can be stapled to an index card (and still remain sealed)
The much available space on the index card allows me to write:
A Detailed description of the coin!
and still have plenty of room to write down
the current value, updated values etc.
Many error coin collectors have gone to using 2 x2 flips...
Again, a flip does NOT seal the coin as well.
When you staple the flip to the little 2 x 2 insert
you are actually placing FOUR holes in the flip!
This has become my new storage method for not only error coins but other coins as well.
Think over what I have said here and you may switch as well.
