Sirai solenoid valve 28MM 1" 1INCH central heating? uk
SIRAI 1inch Full Bore N.C. Solenoid Valve.
Supplied with 2 pieces 28mm compression adaptors allowing for direct connection to 28mm pipework.
Type: L180 Q17 O6 [G1 = 1" bsp version]
Function: 2/2 [2-port] Normally Closed [opens when coil energized].
Port Size: Standard 1" BSP parallel fitted with 28mm straight compression adaptors [these are heavy duty WADE couplings]
Orifice: "FULL BORE" 24mm [1inch] orifice. High flow rating. Minimal pressure drop.
Coil Voltage: I can supply this valve with 230Vac, 110vac or 12Vdc coils.
You will have to message me to let me know which coil you would prefer when you make your purchase. The coil with come with a suitable din connector plug. The 230vac and 12Vdc versions may differ slightly to the coil shown in the Sirai pdf and may be ACL or ODE brands. A 230vac ACL coil is shown in the picture.
VERY IMPORTANT: This solenoid valve is pilot operated [also known as servo-operated] and requires a MINIMUM 0.35bar differential pressure* in direction of flow - both to maintain a good seal and to open fully. Therefore it should not be used in applications where the forward pressure may drop below this required level - eg: tank emptying, pressure venting to atmosphere. *[ The 'differential pressure' is the pressure 'difference' between one port and the other.] Without this minimum forward differential pressure the valve will open only partially or not at all.

Solenoid valves will not tolerate solid particulate material or dirt. Where fluid contains such particles a suitable strainer should be fitted up-stream to protect the valve from damage.
Electrical Connections: Supplied with din-connector plug and gasket. Plug contains screw-clamps terminals and cable sealing gland.
NEW & BOXED. An extremely high quality and normally very expensive valve.
