The frame and drawers are reinforced for strength and durability. Stops prevent the drawers from being pulled loose by accident, yet each drawer can be removed, if you wish, by easily lifting upward.
If you wish to order the 5" Closed Base along with your cabinet, it is on special sale for only $79.31 currently. (Regular List Price is $113.30.) The cabinet will stand alone with no problem, however, if you do not desire a base.
