I was unable to obtain futher specifications. But here is some basic information about the manufacturer's particle counters...
TSI has been making particle counters for nearly 30 years. Today, our family of Condensation Particle Counters includes instruments that are designed to meet the needs of specific applications. Collectively, our CPCs detect particles in the range from 2.5 nm to >3 m. Our Aerosol Electrometer measures the total net charge of particles from 2 nm to 5 m.
We also offer our Electrical Aerosol Detector (EAD), a novel instrument that complements our Condensation Particle Counters. Like a CPC, the EAD measures particle concentration (10 nm to >1 m) as a function of time, but it also measures a parameter called aerosol diameter concentration. This property of ultrafine aerosol particles looks promising for health effects research.
The Nanoparticle Surface Area Monitor measures the human lung-deposited surface area of particles corresponding to tracheobronchial (TB) and alveolar (A) regions of the lung. It provides a simple and fast solution for measuring the surface area equivalent dose in the lung.
