Hilti te 72 hammer drill with case and bits
SELECTOR SWITCH FOR HAMMER DRILL OR CHIPPING HAMMER
360 DEGREE SIDE HANDLE ROTATION
Hilti's innovative TE 72, the first rotary hammer drill that met the demands of construction site use. At the heart of this revolutionary tool was the electropneumatic hammering mechanism, an innovation that allowed drill bits and chisels to hammer their way into concrete with almost magical ease. (German Engineering at its Best.)
Right from the beginning, to ensure that these tools were capable of withstanding the harsh treatment of everyday jobsite use for many years, Hilti rotary hammers were equipped not only with an electropneumatic hammering mechanism but also a robust chuck incorporating a roller locking mechanism that allowed impact energy to be transferred directly to the connection end of the drill bit. This fully enclosed system brought other advantages: far less dust found its way inside and permanent lubrication greatly reduced the need for maintenance. As safety of the operator has always been one of Hilti's greatest concerns, the Hilti TE 72 was also equipped with a mechanical slip clutch to prevent sudden stalling and rotation of the electric tool in the operator's hands in the event of hitting steel reinforcement.
