I contacted the marker manufacturer and they recommended amodex .I wasn't sure I wanted to invest in a stain remover through the mail, so I put it off...Two years later, our next daughter also expressed herself with a permanent marker! This time I ordered the amodex . After all with two 'artists' I was sure to need it... I treated the two-year-old marker stains with amodex and it worked!It did take a few applications because the stains were extensive and had been allowed to set for so long,
but I have also treated several fresh ink stains and they were removed more easily. In fact I started trying amodex on my 'mystery' stains too and I am impressed with the results!
~ ~ Please be aware that while no product will remove every type of stain,
this is the only product I have found that will remove most inks without damaging the fabric in the process.
I highly recommend this product!For best results, do not wet stain before treating with amodex. Note: Although I have had no problems with fabric damage,
it is always wise to test your item for colorfastness on a hidden area before stain treatment.
