Microdermabrasion is a safe, non-surgical skin resurfacing procedure with no downtime, offering outstanding results on numerous skin conditions. All skin types can be treated effectively.
Individual skin assessments will determine the amount of treatments needed, however approximately 6 8 treatments will satisfactorily treat any condition.
The procedure is performed by using a hand piece that the operator passes over the skin two or three times. This evenly removes the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin.
The underlying epidermis is also stimulated by the abrasion and the vacuum. This promotes the generation of new collagen, which thickens the dermis and improves resistance to the effects of aging.
