This Shelter Meets the New US Forest Service Specifications to Fight Wildland Fire and is Required When Fighting Wildfires.
Shelter Specs. Read: Fire Shelter-NSN 4240-01-498-3184R. This Shelter Meets The requirements of Forest Service Specifications 5100-606
Carrying Case Specs. Read: Case, Carrying, Fire Shelter, M-2002. Meets The Requirement of Forest Service Specifications 5100-609.
The Outer Carrying Case is Equipt with a Set of Alice clips for Secure Attachment on the Belt or Gear Webbing.
The Shelter is in New Condition Inside and Out, Still Secure (unopened) and Has Never Been Carried on a Fire.
The Shelter is in it's Origional Carrying Case which also has a Rigid Plastic Protector Box that Helps Protect the Fire Shelter when it is being Carried in Rough Terrain.
The Directions (which you need to be familiar with) on How to Deploy the Fire Shelter are Included in the Front Pouch of the Carrying Case.
