Designed for use in Acute Hospitals, Nursing Homes and in the Community setting,
The MS26 syringe driver is a popular, cost effective, and reliable device for low volume slow infusion of subcutaneous or IV infusions.
Takes luer lock syringes (sizes 5ml, 10ml, 20ml, 30ml or 35ml)
Rate is set in mm of travel per hour
The syringe is pushed along at a controlled rate by the rotating screw pumping mechanism. It can operate at up to 99 mm of travel per hour. The MS 26 is programmed to deliver it's solution by distance of travel of the syringe & not volume delivered
Appropriate for use with most syringe brands, the driver pushes the syringe plunger a programmed distance over a known time.
The rate (in mm) is simply dialed in to the driver.
The driver will switch itself off at the end of an infusion and will alarm in case of occlusion.

The battery used is a 9 Volt Alkaline PP3, e.g. Duracell MN1604. Typical battery life is 50 filled syringes.
