Merits A182 rocking piston compressor/vacuum pump, 115V
Merits is a world renown manufacturer of compressors and vacuum pumps for medical, refrigeration, and other industries. This unit has been sitting around for a while, but has never been used other than for obtaining flow and pressure capability data . A P2 (aluminum) capacitor (as shown) is included. Also included is a brass 40 psi pressure relief valve. (not shown)
Its capabilities are as follows: (All measurements taken after 2 minutes run time, flow will be slightly less after compressor is run for longer periods.)
Vacuum: Max vacuum at -25.7 inches of mercury at zero flow.
Pressure: 140 LPM (4.94 cfm) @ 20 psi
Power consumption: 3.7-4.2 amps/120 volts
These pumps can typically run continuously for more than 15,000 hours.
