10+ Bantam Chicken Hatching Eggs
The bearded and booted Mille Fleur D'Uccle from Belgium is one of the most beautiful and desired breeds of bantam chickens.
The Mille Fleur pattern consists of a base color of mahogany, with each feather marked with a crescent shaped bar of black and tipped with a V-shaped white spangle.
The true coloring does not usually appear until after the first adult molt.....see photo below.........
In French, Mille Fleur means "multitude of flowers" and relates to the colorful feather configuration.
This sweet and petite breed is truly adorable, as you can see from our photos.
Mature males of this breed sport a straight comb and average 26 oz. while females average 22 oz.
Hens will brood on occasion and lay a small tinted white egg.
Mille Fleur D Uccles have such a lovely disposition, are hardy and easily owned and cared for..
they are good foragers and also stand confinement well...
