These new old stock JAN G.E. 12AU6 RF/IF amplifier pentode tubes are tested as new on our B&K 707 tube tester.
The 12AU6 is listed as a good substitute (1970 Tube Substitution Guidebook by H. A. Middleton) for the popular 12BA6 tube.
Swan used the 12AU6 tube in the SW-120, SW-140, SW-175, 270 and 270B transceivers and Drake used the 12AU6 tube in the 2-C receiver.
