Our most popular grinder the Tasin TS-108 has a motor wattage of 1200 watts
(1.6 hp when you convert this mathematically but this is an incorrect value - the wattage is the correct value) and grinds over 200 lbs per hour which makes this unit one of the most powerful grinders in its weight class. It will grind basically as fast as you can feed it , as a deer hunter and home sausage maker I am speaking from experience.
Note: Our grinders are rated by the manufacturer whether it be in horsepower or in watts and we don't exaggerate these numbers or the rate at which the unit will grind meat unlike other sellers are doing and believe us when we say, some of them are. Even though many of these grinders look alike they actually aren't, so pay attention to the details such as button design or where the feed assembly hold down screw (grey knob) is located. If your looking for a true Tasin grinder, the grey knob is on the same side as the square switches (not round). Make sure the grinder shown in the pictures is the item you will be getting, some sellers use stock photos and send you an entirely different item from what their pictures show.

Always wait for your grinder to arrive at your location and then test your grinder before thawing your meat - it's best to be safe then sorry. Please remember to hand wash your grinder parts in warm soapy water only. Dishwashers and bleach solutions can erode the plating. Dry parts quickly to prevent rusting. I recently bought a Tasin TS- 108 electric meat grinder I just got done grinding up 78 lbs of Buffalo meat and it took me 24 min. from start to finish. The motor never bogged down .I stop the machine one time about half way thru just to check out the grinding blade. It had a little bit of meat trimming behind the blade, other than that this machine did everything the add said. For the price! You can't beat it. I was so Impressed , I had to show my next door neighbor, He has a commercial one and older type he said this machine works better than mine.
I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you for the grinder. It arrived yesterday and I ground about 60 lbs of moose meat today, which has heavy gristle, and the grinder worked beautifully. At a time when it is so common to be disappointed with substandard quality and less-than-expected performance it was refreshing to receive such value for the price. This meat grinder far exceeded my expectations.
