3M Dynapro ET 355 Touch Screen Industrial LCD Monitor
We used the included DC power supply, and the monitor gave the Samsung WiseView logo and then went blank. We are not sure what kind of video signal is supposed to go to the CAT5 Extender jack on the rear panel, but the display module inside accepts a plain analog RGB signal. We applied the video signal from one of our computers (not included) to the VGA connector inside, and it gave a crisp, clear display. We are not sure how to connect the touch screen interface to our computer, so it was not tested. Please NOTE: this unit is marked as an "Engineering Prototype Build," and we are not sure what this means.

3M Says: "3M Dynapro ET 355 industrial monitors are designed and certified to operate in a variety of harsh industrial environments, including oil and gas exploration, heavy industrial, military, mining and utility operations. Dynapro ET 355 monitors are fully sealed to meet the NEMA 4X rating and IP 66 industrial enclosure standard. Additionally, the Dynapro ET 355 monitor is certified for use in hazardous locations where harmful chemicals and harsh conditions exist.
"To extend the monitors' utility in the industrial workplace, a 1,000-foot cable and keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) extender kit enables the monitors to be placed up to 1,000 feet from the user's computer. This allows operators in the field to utilize the application while the high-performance PC is running 1,000 feet away in a cool, controlled environment. A moisture deflector option for outdoor use also is available.
"The 15-inch displays integrate the MicroTouch Near Field Imaging patented touch-screen technology, incorporating exceptional durability with high precision, optical clarity and brightness.
